Saul High on OBSCUUR Records: Run Tha Streetz and Music Feel Ya Soul

Saul High has two releases on OBSCUUR Records: Music Feel Ya Soul in August 2025 and Run Tha Streetz in July 2026. Each is a three-track release. Between them they cover electro, dance and trance, and Run Tha Streetz pushes into the space where euphoric trance meets hard dance. This is a short guide to both, with links to the full pages.

Who is Saul High?

Saul High is an artist on OBSCUUR Records, the independent label from Amsterdam and Berlin for high energy dance music. The catalogue so far is two releases, a year apart. The second one is the clearest statement of what Saul is aiming for. In their own words: “I wanted to make tracks that get a rise out of a crowd. Not fillers between big moments, the moment.”

What is on Saul High’s Run Tha Streetz EP?

Run Tha Streetz came out on 31 July 2026. It has three tracks: Run Tha Streetz, Cosmic Gate and Music is Hypnotising. The lead track gives the release its name, and the other two sit beside it as equals rather than B-sides.

The brief behind it is specific. Saul describes an intersection “where trance gets euphoric and hard dance gets nasty”, and says the EP sits in that pocket. The three tracks are different from each other, but they come “from the same headspace”, and all weave between beautiful and hard tones. Vocals run across all three, adding to the anthem energy without dulling the edge.

For DJs, that gives you a release with range. Three tracks that share a mood but not a template are easier to place across a set than three variations on one idea.

What was Saul High’s first OBSCUUR release?

Music Feel Ya Soul landed on 15 August 2025. It is tagged electro, dance and trance, and it carries three tracks: Music Feel Ya Soul, PACKS and a third cut. Compare the genre tags with the later release and you can see the direction of travel. The first record leans on trance and electro. The second adds the harder end of the floor and puts that trance and hard dance crossover at the front.

The label’s own writing on the second release describes it as anthemic, uplifting, hard-hitting and dancefloor-focused. That is a sensible lens for hearing the first one too.

How do you hear both releases?

Start with Run Tha Streetz, then go back to Music Feel Ya Soul. The newer EP shows the intent, and the older one shows where it began. Both release pages are linked above, and the artist page collects everything Saul has put out on the label.

Two releases in, Saul High has a clear lane and a clear idea of what a record should do in a room.
